Albino teen Jaclyn lives a nocturnal life. One night she does something she’s never done before—go for a run down the dirt road she and her parents live on. She stops when she hears a man singing with a voice that seems to enchant her. After that, she feels compelled to return and meet the first person in her life who is not her parents—a man known only as Amara. But Amara has a secret; he is not a simple mortal, as Jaclyn first believes.
After discovering the depth of her relationship with Amara, Jaclyn’s parents cart her off to a boarding school for nocturnal beings. Now in amongst vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures, she remains the sole mortal. However, someone within the school has begun tormenting her. To what end? She doesn’t know. But truths are about to come to light, and her life will never be the same again.
